Job Searching and Work Skills

Academic achievement & job opportunities are closely linked. Worrying about getting a good job ranked even higher among youth in the Hennepin County Suburban Adolescent Health Task Force report than gaining entrance to college. Youth need a way to access the job opportunities that are available to them.  The Mosaic Youth Center provides workforce development opportunities and job searching resources for youth in the northwest suburbs.

Workforce Development Opportunities:

• Resume and cover letter development

• Assistance with job applications

• Mock job interviews

• Job shadowing and student internship experiences

• Career exploration through Career Cruising

• Additional services may be available upon request
